Participant Edge / Cloudflare
Cloudflare is the first reference provider for participant-owned edge cells, not the identity of the architecture.
What a cell does
A participant edge cell can provide one stable gateway, encrypted object persistence, signed-message receipt, buffering, static diagnostics, release-state reporting, export, health, and local-node inbox/outbox behavior.
What remains local
Root identity keys, provider cookies, model credentials, project plaintext, unrestricted files/processes, high-authority signing, and user acceptance.
First bounded pilot
One Gateway Worker, one D1 schema for encrypted objects and operational metadata, one diagnostics interface, cell identity endpoint, signed-message receipt, export, health, and signed deployment declaration.
Explicit exclusions
No hidden free-tier quota pooling, no global API keys or passwords, no participant model credentials, no unrestricted remote code deployment, and no claim of trusted execution.
